2022 Crush Vineyard Temptation - 92 points - $62

The 2022 Temptation, a varietal Tempranillo, is perfumed and sweetly spiced with a bouquet of sugar-dusted black cherries and sage. Cool-toned and round, it is savory on the palate, with tart red and black fruit over a stream of brisk acidity. It is staining, long and gently tannic as well, with a. mineral saturation and hints of licorice that linger. While structured, there’s a lovely drinkability factor here.

The finish is marked by staining length yet remains energetic, leaving a bitter hint of licorice and the mouth watering for more.

The 2022 Rapture opens with a dusty mix of spices and dried florals that complement dried black cherries.
